A recent Instagram post about Karoline Leavitt’s appearance transformation has gone viral, sparking a heated debate over whether her current look is an upgrade or if fans think she has gone too far with cosmetic enhancements.

The post, which has gained nearly 5K likes and 600 comments, featured a side-by-side comparison of photos from Leavitt’s younger years, believed to be from her late teens to early 20s, alongside more recent images of the 28-year-old White House press secretary. See the post here.

The comparison highlighted several changes that some social media users speculated could be the result of cosmetic treatments, including fuller lips, more defined eyebrows, possible facial injections, and an alleged nose job.

The White House press secretary has not publicly confirmed undergoing any of these procedures.

The person who shared the post criticized her appearance, writing, “Karoline, stop injecting — you’ve gone too far!”

The comments section quickly became divided, with some users criticizing her rumored cosmetic work while others defended her or compared her look to various celebrities.

“Mar-a-Lago face on schedule,” one person wrote on Instagram.

Another commented, “Wow. She WAS really pretty.”

Others questioned the changes, writing, “Her real nose was way better,” "Is that Amy Schumer?" and “The funny thing is that she looks fine before all the alterations.”

Additional comments included, “She looks older with each procedure,” “She’s had her eyes done too!” and “Her injector needs their license revoked lol.”

Some users also claimed she may have had an upper blepharoplasty, a cosmetic eyelid procedure, while others expressed frustration over women changing their natural features.

Leavitt has not addressed the online speculation surrounding her appearance.

Karoline Leavitt's Vanity Fair Photo Draws Attention To Her Lip Injection Marks

The mom of two faced online backlash in December 2025 after Vanity Fair published a close-up portrait of her as part of an interview series featuring Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The unretouched image quickly went viral, with social media users closely examining Leavitt’s face and speculating about possible cosmetic treatments.

Some commenters focused on her upper lip, claiming the photo appeared to show what they believed were visible marks from recent lip filler injections.

A White House spokesperson criticized the magazine, accusing it of intentionally photographing and editing staff members in a way that was “bizarre” and demeaning.

Photographer Christopher Anderson, who shot the images, defended the photos in an interview with The Washington Post, pushing back against criticism that he should have altered the photo.

“I didn’t put the injection sites on her. People seem to be shocked that I didn’t use Photoshop to retouch out blemishes and her injection marks,” Anderson said. “I find it shocking that someone would expect me to retouch out those things.”
