Kate Middleton stayed true to form yesterday, opting for a white, nautical-inspired Alexander McQueen cable knit dress while visiting Prince Edward Island (although we are surprised she didn’t go for the navy version, considering it seems to be one of her favorite colors). The princess’ nautical-inspired frock accentuated her teeny waist (as did her lace Erdem dress), and seemed like an appropriate choice for the occasion. And hey, you know it’s pretty cute when Sarah Jessica Parker has worn the exact same version. Granted, SJP wore the dress five years ago, but to her credit, the nautical look never goes out of style. And who knows, maybe next time she’ll show up in a pair of style blogger-approved sailor shorts.
