We thought it was pretty chill when Miranda Lambert let her ‘maids wear cowboy boots at her 2011 wedding to Blake Shelton. But we had no idea that the country singer would get into the shoe biz three years later. Miranda just launched her debut collection, Miranda by Miranda Lambert, but we actually got a sneak peak at the line a couple of months ago at the CMA Awards. Remember those silver cowboy boots she wore that belong in Will Smith‘s “Wild Wild West” music video? Yeah, those, um, stunners (?) are part of her Fall 2014 line-up. Luckily, her styles this season are a little less…insane. Miranda told WWD that her design philosophy is to “Keep it simple. You can’t get crazy with design because you need something for everybody.” Hmm, we’re not sure if metallic cowboy boots are for everyone, but the 13 pieces available now from DSW are definitely waaaay more tame. There’s western-inspired wedges, flip-flops, open-toe booties, and yes, even slides. So on-trend, Miranda!
