Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!

Back when I lived in NYC, I preferred to walk instead of taking the subway.

You could say I spent a lot of time on my feet. There was one summer when my heels cracked open and bled, forcing me to hobble over to the nearest mani-pedi salon and beg them for help. One ultra-intensive pedicure later and my feet weren’t bleeding anymore…but they also weren’t totally fixed. It took my soles hitting rock bottom for me to learn how to care for them properly.

Don’t be like me. Taking care of your feet isn’t just self-care, but basic hygiene! We ask so much of our feet every day, especially during the warmer months when sandals and sun exposure can leave them dry/cracked and begging for TLC. And while a good pedicure is always nice, sometimes you need something more intensive, like a foot mask that does the heavy lifting while you sit back and relax.

Plantifique’s Foot Peel Mask ($23.99) is a great example of an exfoliating treatment that pampers and protects your feet. Plantifique also happens to be one of the K-beauty-inspired brands I like to keep an eye on (and so does the rest of the Internet, apparently). There’s a reason these foot masks are wildly popular!

What makes Plantifique’s Foot Peel Masks ($23.99) so great? For starters, they really do work! Each mask is infused with the brand’s signature Plantis complex, a blend of deeply nourishing superfood ingredients that gently remove dead skin and calluses from the deepest layers. (This tracks, because Plantifique is known for turning powerful plant-based superfoods into skin-loving formulas.) These foot masks are also derma-tested, meaning they’re safe for sensitive skin and free of the usual suspects like parabens and lanolin. The formula includes ingredients like jasmine essential oil, plus vitamins A and E to help boost skin’s immunity, improve elasticity, and restore moisture. TL;DR It’s exactly what dry, overworked feet need.

That said, there’s a method to the magic. Don’t just slap them on and hope for the best! First, soak your feet in warm water for 10-20 minutes. Once you apply the mask, leave it on for about 90 minutes (a perfect excuse to queue up Netflix or sip a cup of tea). Then rinse thoroughly. The peeling process kicks in over the next few days, and people say it’s weirdly satisfying. After about a week, you’ll be rewarded with smoother, baby-soft soles.

Plantifique’s Foot Peel Masks ($23.99) have an impressive 4.4-star average rating from over 48,000 reviews on Amazon. Like I said, brand fans are loyal.

“This product works. … My feet were in horrible shape. I was too embarrassed to get them done professionally. Now my feet are smooth and soft. I can go get my new pedicure now,” one customer wrote.

After using the mask, “I can finally wear [sandals] without being self-conscious about my cracked white heels,” someone else commented. Another person said it left their feet feeling “baby-soft.”

Whether you’re giving your feet a little post-sandal recovery or just want to treat yourself, this foot mask delivers. Do your soles a favor and pick it up.
