The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Chip and Pepper are the identical twin wunderkinds that design denim that can inspire violence (Naomi Campbell beat up her assistant after believing she had stolen her Supermodel Chip and Pepper jeans.) Sephora has made shopping for cosmetics a chic and pressure-free experience. Two labels that scream “hip” from the lips of those who shop them have now partnered with one mass retailer who is looking to cash in on their good names: J.C. Penney’s.

The dynamic denim duo debuted a masstige line called C7P (available only at J.C. Penney’s) which premiered at a celebrity-filled party at Hollywood’s Sunset Tower Hotel on July 11th. The line has tees, hoodies and jeans just as cute as their designer counterparts at a quarter of the price. The C7P Laguna Bootcut Jean is a great staple for your wardrobe and comes in sizes 1-17.

Need some new beauty items? Click on the Sephora tab within the Penney’s site and be sure to grab Ted Gibson’s Hair Sheets, a combination of amino acids on a sheet that can be smoothed over hair to condition, fight frizz and provide sun protection.

This ain’t your mama’s J.C. Penney’s, ladies. They’re out for a corner of the hipster market and with partnerships with Chip & Pepper and Sephora, they might be on their way. We’ll keep you posted.
