While watching my Full Frontal Fashion this weekend to catch up on any fashion shows I might have missed, I took note of an interesting segment where the girls on the show took a tour backstage to get some hair and makeup tips from the masters of beauty that were prepping the models. A good hair tip they went over was how to control fly-aways — something that can easily be seen in runway photos because of camera flashes. There seemed to be one simple solution: Use Frederic Fekkai:
When your hair gets dried out, it breaks easily. So, you'll need a great shampoo to restore your hair's health by replenishing its moisture. Fekkai's Technician Shampoo ($22 for 8 oz) also strengthens and protects your strands while giving them extra shine because of its natural ingredients like apricot, avocado, and peach.
Then, of course, you'll need to follow up with a proper conditioner. The Glossing Conditioner ($22 for 8 oz) is formulated with natural olive oil which is lightweight enough to do the job without weighing down your hair. (Also, conditioners with shea butter with help repair hair damage.)
After gently brushing your wet hair and drying it with a hair dryer — use only an 'ionic' one, please, and always point it downward as you dry — apply a little Glossing Sheer Shine Mist ($22.50 for 5 oz) that is also infused with olive oil to keep long-lasting shine, prevent moisture loss, and maintain a polished apperance. They even have a mini 'To Go' version that you can keep in your purse to stay fly-away-free wherever you go.
