The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Problem: You have curly or frizzy hair that requires a ton of product to behave, yet you have limited time to deal with it or you’re just jealous of your friends who can go from the shower to fully dressed and ready to go in under 15 minutes.

Solution: The Curl-ease towel. I know what you’re saying: “A miracle towel? I’ve heard that one before.” I, myself, approached this product with a fair amount of skepticism. It makes such huge promises. According to the box, Curl-Ease will allow you to wrap your hair in this towel, take it off 20 minutes later and have great curls, not frizz. (This assumes that you’ve combed your hair in shower and don’t have to again once you’re out.)

The fabric is the key. The cotton is super-absorbent, so it dries hair quickly. As with most curly girls, my hair looks great right out of the shower, but as it dries it gets poofier and poofier. Curl-ease maintains the integrity of your curl while getting rid of excess water faster. It’s also smooth, unlike terry cloth. The first time I tried the towel I had no expectations. I wore it while I got dressed and moisturized (about 15 – 20 minutes). I was shocked that my hair was only a little damp and just as curly as it had been when wet. No ‘fro, no frizz. As my hair dried completely, it did shrink up and gain body, but it maintained curl, something I had previously only been able to achieve with product. It’s the perfect solution for days when I want my hair to look nice but don’t want to spend time on it. Get the Curl-ease for $20 and enjoy no-hassle curls.
