The Proposal's Uptight Editor Likes Structure In Her Wardrobe, Too

The Proposal hit theaters this past weekend, and SheFinds was there to scope out the big screen fashion (and gaze at Ryan Reynolds).

Sandra Bullock plays Margaret Tate, a no-holds-barred, Louboutin-wearing book editor who forces her adorable assistant, Andrew (Reynolds), to become her fiance. The movie, a classic Sandra Bullock rom-com, is entertaining enough, but the true highlights come from Margaret’s enviable wardrobe and accessories.

She has the perfect carry-all bag, and of course, it’s Prada.  For one in a similar size, shape, and color – with a much more affordable price tag – try this tote from Marc by Marc Jacobs ($448).

Throughout the movie, Margaret dons very flattering and versatile dresses–great for the office or a weekend brunch with the fiance’s fam.  For an equally chic and structured option, check out this asymmetrical purple number by Black Halo ($345).

Stay tuned as we cover what trends stars are wearing throughout the summer on the big screen.
