Ever since I saw ice princess Nina Garcia rocking a giant, somewhat rough hewn, cocktail ring on Project Runway, I've been searching for a reasonably priced option to place upon my own finger. However, as a girl without the cable contract and financial resources of Ms. Garcia, I've been a bit weak in the checkbook when it comes to the rings' high prices. Thankfully, I stumbled across some lovely, reasonably priced, chunky stones. As statement pieces, they'll easily transition from day to night. And, a little bit masculine, a little rock-and-roll, and a lot stylish… they're a cheap update to last season's LBD.
The chunky black onyx in this H. Lane Ring ($139) makes it an accessory not to be ignored.
This ring from Forever 21 ($5.80) has an eclectic metallic face, and comes in silver or gold. For the price, you can buy both – but unless you're going for a brass-knuckles aesthetic, we suggest only wearing one at a time.
La Petite Princesse Pool Ring ($89) looks like a slick oil spill on your finger – not your average cocktail ring.
The Kenneth Jay Lane Rectangle Ring ($110) is accented with Swarovski crystals. It's a perfect bold piece for any look.
