60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

Foundation is one of those pesky makeup products that often takes a few tries to find the perfect one. First you must find the right formula, whether that be liquid or powder, and then you have to find the right shade. Sometimes this can be incredibly time consuming, but when you eventually find the right foundation that works for your skin, it is totally worth it. We found a new liquid foundation at an unbeatable price point that you are going to want to learn more about. I tested the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Liquid Foundation, $5.28 to see if it lived up to the hype.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Liquid Foundation, $5.28

Key Ingredients: Liquid Formula

Usually liquid foundations give you a bit more coverage than powder foundations. The dewy and creamy formula of the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Liquid Foundation, $5.28 is targeted toward those with combination skin. Since it is a liquid foundation, it can be built up from medium to full coverage which is a great option to have when selecting a product.

Key Features: Lightweight Formula & Long-Lasting

In my opinion, there is nothing worse than a foundation that is cakey and heavy on your face! The formula of this liquid foundation is lightweight and moisturizing at the same time so you know you aren’t dealing with a product that will leave you feeling like you have ten layers of makeup on. It also promises a long-lasting formula that can be worn from day to night while minimizing the appearance of pores. Long-lasting is definitely an ideal feature to have when it comes to any makeup product, but especially foundation.

How to Use: Most foundations can be applied in different ways depending on your preferences. Liquid foundations can be applied with your fingers, a makeup brush or a beauty blender or sponge. Depending on how much coverage you want should depend on how many layers you apply. Start with a small amount of the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Dewy Liquid Foundation, $5.28 in the center of your face and blend it outwards with whatever applicator you prefer!

My Honest Review:

Let me be completely up front with you. I am not a liquid foundation girl. I’ve always leaned towards powder foundation because I don’t necessarily want as much coverage as a liquid foundation tends to give. But I decided to give this product a chance and was pleasantly surprised. I only used one layer of foundation and I evenly distributed it with a beauty blender to make sure I didn’t miss any spots on my face. The formula was very easy to spread maneuver and it covered up my pores and dark spots with just one layer. My skin looked extremely dewy in almost a glazed donut sort of way. One thing that I think really made a difference was using a primer before the foundation to make sure it really blended into my skin.

The Bottom Line:

If you want to spend less money on a liquid foundation than the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Dewy Liquid Foundation, $5.28 is your best bet. You can’t beat the price point and many of the reviews on Amazon compare it to higher end brands. If you are buying this for the first time, I’d try and do a color match with the foundation you currently use, that’s how I was able to find the right shade for me.
