60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

When it comes to removing my makeup, I’m not a huge fan of makeup wipes because they almost always leave my skin dry and starving for moisture. That’s a no-no for me throughout the year, but it’s something I’m especially conscious of it in the fall and winter when my skin tends to be drier anyway. I’m all about products that add moisture and hydration to my skin at every step, so when I heard about Younique’s new Cleansing Stick I was super excited to give it a try. It’s a balm-like stick that you can use to dissolve off everything from waterproof eyeliner and mascara to foundation and concealer.

I decided to put it to the test with my blackest of black liquid eyeliner and my go-to black mascara. Would I have to scrub my eyes for minutes and minutes? Would I be left with raccoon eyes? Turns out, it’s a “no” on both fronts! I gathered some of the cleansing stick balm on my clean fingertips, then gently massaged it in over my eye makeup. It only took about five or six seconds for the makeup to start to break down and within a minute I was able to use a soft cloth to completely wipe the makeup away. Whoa! No black bits or weird dark shadow left behind at all!

Even better, though, it didn’t burn or irritate my eyes and the delicate skin in that area was left super smooth and soft.

I also decided to give this Cleansing Stick a try with some “no-smudge” lipstick and yes, it worked just as well on the lips, too!

If you’re ready to ditch makeup wipes, this is definitely the product to switch to. It’s perfect for traveling because it’s small and compact and it really does make removing any type of makeup super duper easy.
