Trend Alert: Mischa Modernizes Keds.

Mischa Barton has been tapped as the face (the feet?) of the classic footwear staple. With rich new colors and Mischa’s hip “casual” ads, I expect this Keds trend to kick into high gear. The plum Kedette comes in swanky suede ripe for Fall. The new twist to the classic Triumph tennis shoe is tweed. But my favorite is the Knack.

The Kate intrigues me. It’s made with Microstretch LifeProof technology and is supposedly “infinitely wearable 24/7.” I like that it appears to have amazing arch support and comes in a vibrant orange among other colors.
