Jennifer Garner is earning praise from fans after unveiling her latest cover story with InStyle.
Along with showing off a series of chic summer looks, the actress told InStyle about motherhood, career sacrifices, and the challenges of raising her three children while navigating life in the spotlight—including the years surrounding her divorce from Ben Affleck.
For the cover shoot, the 13 Going On 30 icon stunned in a striking red bodysuit by Sarah Burton featuring a plunging neckline, paired with sheer tights as she posed poolside. Many fans noted that the actress bore a striking resemblance to Brooke Shields, thanks to her center-parted brunette hair and signature smile.

Another standout look featured a sleeveless red turtleneck bodysuit layered beneath a Loewe leather jacket, accessorized with jewelry from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello and the same sheer Wolford tights.
Embracing warm-weather fashion, the 54-year-old also modeled an asymmetrical orange pleated dress by Tom Ford, a blue Saint Laurent swimsuit, and a playful combination of a purple Balenciaga crop top and exaggerated barrel-leg jeans.
Fans quickly flocked to social media to share their admiration for the actress.
“I thought it was Brooke Shields!!” one person commented.
“She stayed true to herself. A true natural and authentic beauty. She doesn’t look plastic, pulled, injected, filled, plumped, or altered in any way,” another wrote. “Hands down my favorite actress. Love anything she is in. She is the real deal. Just a great human being and role model,” another fan added.
“Class act!” a fourth commenter wrote.

Jennifer Garner Gets Candid On Being A Working Mom & 'Upheaval' During Ben Affleck Split
In the interview, the mom of three reflected on the realities of motherhood and the pressure many women feel to do it all.
“You have to raise yourself at the same time,” she told InStyle. “And just be so radically kind to yourself about how imperfect it is. It’s just going to be imperfect. There’s no such thing as balance. There’s no such thing as doing it right. And when the big moments happen, you are okay, and that’s on you to know and understand so your child feels your okayness.”
The Alias alum also spoke candidly about balancing parenthood with her Hollywood career. “When I work, I don’t apologize to my kids for it. I do thank them for being so sweet about it. But that’s part of life. Working hard is part of life, and messing up is part of life. Tripping and falling—there’s room for all of it.”
Garner and Affleck finalized their divorce in October 2018 after separating in 2015 following 10 years of marriage. The former couple share three children: Violet, Fin, and Samuel.
Looking back on that period, Jennifer revealed how dramatically her priorities shifted.
“When my kids were little, I worked so little, and then we had such an upheaval in our family that I really hardly worked for a long time,” she said.
Now, as her children grow older, Garner continues to navigate motherhood and her career on her own terms—while co-parenting with the Deep Water actor.
