Why: One can find trends and style in the strangest places. Take, for example, the latest Dr. Scholl’s television commercial. In the ad, (set at a wedding) a male guest is wearing white from head to toe. His suit was fabulous! He didn’t look like a cheesy lounge lizard in the slightest. Quite the opposite; it was very au courant. Although I’m so not gellin’, the commercial set me on a quest to find an all-white suit. The ad execs were onto something because fashion designer Tracy Reese declared white on white a “new trend she loves,” and I love it too. White is white hot, People Magazine’s issue on stands today, has white separates listed as one of summer’s top trends.
