Quite possibly the most remembered Jennifer Aniston fashion moment of this film will be when she was wearing absolutely nothing. (Word is there was no body double, just lots of toning-up prep, a full body wax, and a little 'sumpin to cover her girly parts.) However, the ironically-titled-to-real-life movie was very much in the style of Jennifer herself- simple, laid-back, and ultimately classy. And yet, she's never boring-, how I envy her (stylists).
The Accessories: Minimal. Brooke, Jen's character, wore a signature piece throughout most of the film. A simple, single leaf pendant on a chain around her neck with matching earrings. If you want the actual necklace worn in the film, it was designed by Tobey Maguire's fiance, Jennifer Meyer. You can find it online at kaviarkind.com. Get the same concept, different symbol, less expensive with Lisa K Design's Tea Leaf Necklace - dipped in 14k gold. Finish the look with a plain, yet elegant watch from SmartBargains.com. Brooke at Work: Working in a high-end art gallery, Brooke's office outfits were clean-lined and classy. Think slim pencil skirts
with t-strap heels
and form-hugging dress shirts
in neutral tones. The on-trend working girl wore a classic shirt dress, like this
Gucci black belted dress at Bluefly.com. (This French Connection
will do the trick at a fraction of the cost.) And who thought a bubble hem could actually work? Jennifer worked it well, try BCBG Max Azaria
or this gorgeous Temperley London Silk Pencil Skirt
. At Home with the "Roommate": When they met at a Cubs game she was in nondescript jeans and a brown polo-esque shirt
.
Not exactly "cue the romantic music" but something clicked…
One long photo montage later and we're in the kitchen where's Brooke's cooking in a cocktail dress. Look for a simple sheath, I like the cheap thrill offered by Isaac Mizrahi for Target (34.99). Mirror her Desperate Housewives moment with a frilly apron, slave over a hot stove and watch your relationship crumble.

I’m trying to find the black sheath with the cutout in the back that jennifer aniston wore in the art gallery scene.
