Aaron Rodgers has not been subtle about his anti-vax views, and last month the 38-year-old Greenbay Packers quarterback went on a rant against President Joe Biden after the 79-year-old used the phrase “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” Rodgers, who previously claimed to be “immunized” against Covid was later revealed to not have gotten the vaccination, although he stated that he “didn’t lie” and he’s “somebody who’s a critical thinker.”

During an interview with ESPN given in mid-January, the quarterback lashed out at the President, saying, “When the president of the United States says, ‘This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,’ it’s because him and his constituents, which, I don’t know how there are any if you watch any of his attempts at public speaking, but I guess he got 81 million votes,” Rodgers fumed.
He continued, “But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which — how do you even trust them? — but then they come out and talk about 75% of the COVID deaths have at least four comorbidities. And you still have this fake White House set saying that this is the pandemic of the unvaccinated, that’s not helping the conversation.”

Rodgers’ frustration comes after President Biden made a comment about the footballer’s vaccination status, saying, “Tell that quarterback he’s got to get his vaccine,” during a recent visit to Kentucky. Rodgers revealed in an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” that he was allegedly allergic to two of the ingredients within the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, leading to his decision not to get the shot.
However, the fact that he has not been vaccinated raised eyebrows as Rodgers had previously stated he was “immunized” which later clarified, “At the time, my plan was to say that I have been immunized. It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie. It was the truth, and I’ll get into the whole immunization in a second. But had there been a follow-up to my statement that I’ve been immunized, I would have responded with this: I would have said, ‘Look, I’m not some sort of anti-vax, flat-Earther. I am somebody who’s a critical thinker.’”
