Amal Clooney usually graces the red carpet hand-in-hand with husband George Clooney, but she recently made a stunning solo appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
The renowned human rights attorney turned heads on Friday, May 16, at the premiere of Bono: Stories of Surrender during the 78th Cannes Film Festival. She wore a sleek, figure-hugging black gown featuring delicate off-the-shoulder straps and a flowing train.

However, it was her voluminous hair that stole the show—styled in a glamorous blowout with softly curled ends.
She completed the look with silver drop earrings and soft, nude-toned makeup. She was spotted posing with both Bono and The Edge at the star-studded premiere, longtime friends of the couple.
While Amal looked breathtaking, her solo appearance further fueled divorce rumors between her and her actor husband. In April, an insider told RadarOnline that the couple could actually be headed toward a divorce.

Insider Says George and Amal Clooney Are Facing a 'Costly Divorce'
The pair first sparked concern when the mother of two was nowhere to be seen during George’s big night for his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck in NYC.
According to the report by RadarOnline, the insider claimed, "Everyone expected her to be there for his first night. It was a shock. It's only increased chatter that their marriage isn't in a good place." The Ocean's Eleven star said Amal was "with the kids" at the time.
The report also mentioned how tensions arose when George made the major career move to New York City for his Broadway debut, leaving behind their life in Europe, and again when he publicly supported Harris during her presidential campaign.
"Amal is at the end of her rope—and even told him to stay in New York as long as he likes. She will be going back to Europe. He's deep in the doghouse and seemingly doing nothing to get himself out. Things have never been as tense between them as they are now. There are a lot of whispers that they could be headed for a costly divorce," the source said.
