You may think that a red carpet event requires a glitzy floor-length gown—but Amanda Seyfried just proved ultra formal attire is not necessary. On Thursday, June 8th, the actress attended the New York City premiere of her new Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room. Instead of a dress or pantsuit, she put a spin on business casual in an edgy bra top.
But Amanda’s top wasn’t just any bra top, it was a super fancy one. The bra top was made of black leather and bedazzled. She paired the bejeweled bralette with black high-waisted trousers that showed just a sliver of her tight abs.

The new Apple TV + miniseries, titled The Crowded Room, stars Amanda, Tom Holland, and Emmy Rossum. The show follows Danny (played by Tom) who was arrested for a violent crime in New York City in 1979. He reveals his life to detective and interrogator Rya (played by Amanda). Emmy played Candy Sullivan, Danny’s mother. At the New York City, Amanda turned heads on the red carpet in a bedazzled bra for a top.
The Mama Mia! star, who recently stunned in a "naked" Oscar de la Renta dress at the Met Gala, arrived at the premiere, held at the Museum of Modern Art, in the Alexander McQueen bra top. The top featured a plunging neckline, black leather chest-framing straps, and crystal and silver embellishments across the bra. The bra straps also had two side cutouts to show off some extra skin.
Amanda paired the ensemble with chic baggy black trousers and matching pointy-toed black heels. As for jewelry, she opted for some simple silver rings and dangling diamond earrings for some added sparkle.
The actress then went with a light smokey eye, natural pink lips, and rosy cheeks. She styled her blonde hair slicked all the way back to highlight her perfect face structure.
Amanda came with her husband and fellow actor, Thomas Sadoski. Thomas, who has starred in The Newsroom and Life in Pieces, donned a maroon blazer layered over a simple black tee, black dress pants, and dress shoes to coordinate with his wife of five years.
The actress’s look for the premiere was wildly different from the last outfit she wore to promote the miniseries when she visited Good Morning America in true Clueless style. Earlier that week, Amanda channeled Cher from the 90s classic and modeled a yellow plaid short suit.
