1. Rose Byrne
The Australian actress is making a lot of headlines and red carpet appearances these days, as she's been getting numerous nominations for her leading role in If I Had Legs, I'd Kick You.
For the BAFTAs, Rose channeled two trends - the backless dress and the popular color, butter yellow. The gown was floor-length and hugged her slim figure at the top as it cascaded into a flowing, pleated skirt. The entire dress was covered in crystal embellishments, including the two thin halter straps that wrapped around her neck. The backless gown was accessorized with some dazzling jewelry, and she wore her dark brown hair in a simple updo.
2. Gracie Abrams
The "I Love You, I'm Sorry" singer did not star in any films this year, but she did make her red carpet debut with boyfriend, Paul Mescal, who received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor after playing William Shakespeare in Hamnet.
Gracie stepped out in a backless Chanel dress that added a unique flair to the styles seen yesterday evening. It was black with delicate beaded designs that made up marine designs, including a fish, plants, and more. The short sleeves were lined with turquoise beads to add an extra pop of color, and her back was extra exposed, as her dark, choppy bob was worn in a short, elegant style.

The Scandal star was a highly anticipated guest at this year's BAFTAs, as it was her first time ever attending the award show, despite her very successful career.
For her BAFTA debut, Kerry stepped out in a stunning navy blue gown with no back and a large, flowing skirt with an ombre effect. The top of the gown had a black floral lace pattern made from shining sequins, which added an exciting element to the already dramatic look. She had her long, dark hair in a voluminous updo and coordinated her look with some large, dark blue and silver stud earrings.
