Bella Hadid’s last high profile relationship with The Weeknd may have ended back in 2019, but the 25-year-old is now in a new romance with art director, Marc Kalman, and sources close to the couple revealed that Hadid is “enjoying her relationship.” The pair have been social media official since July 2021, and as Kalman is notably less famous than her past exes, Hadid has been spotted out with him on several occasions without making such a splash. But who is Hadid’s new beau? Here’s what we know so far.

He’s an art director
Just because Kalman flies under the radar more effectively than The Weeknd doesn’t make him any less impressive, and in fact, the 33-year-old has a significant career as an art director. Kalman is best known for his work on the visuals for Travis Scott’s last several albums, and has experience with logo design and branding under his belt. Outside of his clear talent for album design, Kalman has also done some artwork for the brand ‘A Bathing Ape.’
They met through work
According to E!, the happy couple met in New York City when their circles overlapped through work. They “had met before in New York City while working. He has been the creative behind many fashion projects and they have crossed paths several times,” a source told the publication. With the Hadid’s connections to the Kardashian’s it’s not unlikely that Kalman’s work with Travis Scott may have played a role in the pair meeting as well.

Although Kalman’s social media is private, Hadid posted a since deleted, loved-up photo with her boyfriend back in July, effectively confirming their romance. In a slideshow of images which she captioned noting that she was, “Healthy, Working and Loved,” Hadid shared an image of the pair embracing on a balcony, smiling giddily as they kissed. The pic may no longer be on her social media to analyze, but the pair couldn’t have looked happier.

The couple were initially romantically linked in July 2021 when Hadid shared the loved up pic to social media, but sources say they’ve actually been together for much longer. According to Page Six, a source told the publication that the pair have been together since July of the previous year, saying, “They hid it well,” before adding, “If they went out, he would come out first, get the car, and then she would get into the car. They would drive to a location, and he’d drop her off but not get out and go park the car.” Nothing like a sneaky romance to keep things fresh (and hidden from the paparazzi!)
