The Tender Bar star noted that the media attention his relationship with the 52-year-old singer and actress received was very tough to deal with the whole time they were together – and ultimately, that was a huge contributing factor in their separation! "I would say media attention was about 50 percent of what destroyed our relationship," Affleck said.
"The idea that people hate you and they hate you together and that being together is poison and ugly and toxic and the thing none of us want to be part of," he continued. "And 'who the *expletive* would want to have them to dinner?' And 'what the *expletive* are they doing together?'" He then finished off talking about his and J-Lo's past by confirming that the "On My Way" singer was the one who ended things, which left him feeling foolish and broken. He said: "I got *expletive* hurt and angry and felt like a fool." Things seem better second time around! Will they make it down the aisle this time round? Only time will tell!
