Beyoncé’s U.S. leg of her long-awaited Renaissance World Tour is in full swing, and one memorable moment from her recent Chicago tour stop has gone viral.

As the 32-time Grammy winner performed a live rendition of her 2011 hit, “1+1” in front of her audience last week, she quickly became aware that a fan in front of her was not on.

Desperate to escape the intense summer heat, she began gesturing for someone to turn the machine on, but her efforts went unnoticed.

Unable to hold back any longer, she subtly sang “turn the fan on” between her verses. Promptly, a worker from behind-the-scenes finally heeded to her instruction and turned it on.

Turn the Fan On: Beyonce’s Singing Gesture Goes Viral on TikTok

The entire ordeal was caught on TikTok by user @camilabice, who shared the video with the caption “somebody’s getting fired.” In the days since, the footage has racked up over 2.2 million views and has left Beyoncé’s fans amused by her subtle “side-eye” glance towards her team. One fan commented under the viral TikTok post: “I feel like these people she hired are so unobservant. this keeps happening.” Someone else added: “I don’t blame the queen it be hot on that stage with all them lights.”

Despite a few viral blunders and onstage mishaps, so far, Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour has been a massive success. It supports her tenth studio album of the same name, filled with post-1970s house-inspired music.

Every concert on the tour is graced with nine costume changes, including an Alexander McQueen bodysuit with knee-high boots, a customized Loewe bodysuit, and a sequence of sparkly catsuits.

Concertgoers are also sometimes regaled by her 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter's dancing.

Back in February, Billboard approximated that the Oscar-nominated artist's ninth concert tour would earn around $300 million.

Fans, of course, can't get enough of Queen Bey's vocal talents, choreography and style on the tour!
