Brad Pitt has been back in the spotlight, taking on some new film roles and entering a new era of his career. His latest on-set photos for one of his more anticipated projects have the internet thinking he looks unrecognizable.
The actor was recently photographed filming the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood sequel, The Adventures Of Cliff Booth, which follows his famous character from the notable Tarantino movie. The film, which has him donning a 70s-esque haircut and mustache, has been in full swing, and when the newer pictures of Brad in character hit social media, fans couldn’t get over how different he looks.
Brad Pitt Is Photographed Filming With Long Hair & A Mustache
Although he's recently coming off the hype from his latest race car-inspired film, F1, the heartthrob is still going and is currently in the process of filming one of his highly anticipated new projects.
Right now, he's shooting The Adventures of Cliff Booth, which is a sequel and spin-off of the Quentin Tarantino film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which earned Brad the Best Supporting Actor award at the Oscars in 2020. While Tarantino may not be directing the sequel, which follows the life of Brad's character, Cliff Booth, a Hollywood stuntman, he did write the screenplay and has left the directing up to David Fincher.
In recent pictures of the Benjamin Button actor filming that were snapped by paparazzi and shared earlier this month, he can be seen in full Cliff Booth attire, which means he has to wear some 1970s-inspired clothes. In the photos, which can be seen here, Brad is seen with long, shaggy hair and an old-school mustache. He was walking around in a retro wardrobe, complete with denim blue jeans and vintage tops.

Fans React To Brad's Filming Look On Social Media
While many fans of the 61-year-old have already seen him as the character of Cliff, the looks he's sporting for the sequel film are a little different from the first, and quite different from the buzz cut he's been rocking since F1 wrapped. When internet users caught a glimpse of him on set on social media, they shared their thoughts on the 70s-inspired hair and facial hair.
"This is going to be awesome," wrote a fan on Instagram, excited for the film.
"He's starting to look like Robert Redford," added another, comparing Brad to the iconic late actor.
One fan wrote that Brad looked "handsome as always," while many others added heart-eye emojis and fire signs.
The new movie is rumored to premiere in theaters next year, although it looks like they're still thick in the filming process. In the meantime, we'll be curious to see if the character's look inspires Brad to grow out his hair and switch up his own.
