Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie once seemed like the ‘perfect’ Hollywood couple with all of their children, but now, new reports have come out that the actor has an “unfixable” relationship with two of his children as well as his ex-wife.
A source close to the F1 actor recently shared that he has severely damaged relationships with two of his children and that there’s a lot of tension between him and Angelina, who he was with for around 12 years. After their divorce was finalized last year, some were under the impression that they were doing their best to co-parent their kids peacefully, but now, it seems as though that isn’t the case. A Source Claims That Brad Pitt Has An 'Unfixable' Relationship With Some Of His Children
The 61-year-old and the Maleficent actress were married between 2014 and 2016 but had been together since around 2003 when they met while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The former couple share six children. Three of them are adopted, and the other three are their biological kids. Two of their eldest kids, Maddox and Pax, are now in their early 20s, and according to a new insider report, their father is not in a good place with either of them.
Recently, a source close to Brad alleged that his relationship with Pax is beyond repair at this point. Not only that, but the insider also claimed that the dad-of-six cut off his two sons emotionally and financially.
"He has zero concern with what Pax does or doesn't do. [Pax's] actions reflect who he is," the source told The Daily Mail.
"Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable."
The same insider also claimed that the same goes for Maddox, who is not as active in the public eye as some of his siblings but still allegedly is not on great terms with his father.
"Pax and Maddox have made it abundantly clear how they feel, and Brad has nothing to say about either of them," continued the source.
The source and others believe that the disconnect between Brad and his two adopted sons could be due to their behavior. Over the last year, Pax has been photographed as being active in nightlife, more recently looking inebriated as he hung out with friends at the Chateau Marmont in California.
Additionally, the young voice actor also called out his dad on social media four years ago, when on Father's Day, he called his dad a "despicable person" on Instagram.
Insider Alleges That Brad Pitt Says His Children's Behavior Is A 'Direct Result' Of Angelina Jolie's Parenting
After the famous couple's initial split, they were granted joint custody of their six children, but for numerous years, Angelina reportedly had primary custody. This is what Brad allegedly believes is the reason why some things have gone downhill for their family.
"Brad believes that whatever his kids are going through right now is a direct result of how they have been raised," claimed the above insider.
"They are now old enough to make their own choices, and if their choices include drama, that is all on them. Brad would be there to give advice, but he cannot be when he is unable to have a relationship with them at this time."
The actor has yet to comment directly on the situation between him and his sons. Still, in a recent interview, he claimed that his life was feeling "pretty warm and secure," as he's very happy with his current girlfriend, jewelry mogul Ines de Ramon. He did call the media attention he receives an "annoyance," but other than that, he put on a happy face when describing the state of his personal life.
However, we can't help but think about how this latest insider report says otherwise.
