Chris Harrison terrified Bachelor Nation when it was revealed that the longtime host of ABC’s The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise would be relocating to Austin, Texas.
Although fans were devastated at the first reports, there is a chance that Harrison is not planning to leave his role just yet.

Harrison has close ties to Texas. He was born in Dallas, and his son recently started attending Texas Christian College in Fort Worth.
And now Page Six reports that the fan favorite will be moving there. According to the outlet, Harrison is building a home for him and girlfriend Lauren Zima in Barton Creek, a trendy area of Austin.
Fans were understandably upset by the news.
One commented, "If Chris walks, I walk."
Another wrote, "I will riot."
However, one Bachelor alum, Nick Viall, seemed to think there was no reason to be concerned.
He responded to the news, "Pretty sure he can do his job if he lived on Mars. Fear not Bachelor Nation. Daddy Harrison is going nowhere."
And Viall might be onto something.
Production sources with direct knowledge spoke to TMZ about the rumors, denying them and explaining that "he'll commute."
The sources also claimed that he is only building the home in Texas "because of a recent partnership deal he struck with a local brewery."
