Chrissy Metz Flaunts Her Weight Loss At The Creative Arts Emmys
On September 6th and 7th, various celebrities stepped out for the Creative Arts Emmys, a separate ceremony from the big nighttime one you see on television. It's an opportunity for nominees in more technical roles to have their special moment, and it gets a lot of special guests stepping out for the ceremony.
One of those guests was Chrissy Metz, who has been celebrating Emmy season with the cast and crew of Hunting Wives, the viral Netflix series she's been starring in since the summer. In the series, which had its two lead stars presenting during the official Emmys ceremony, the actress plays Starr, a single mom who is a bit of an outsider in her one-of-a-kind community.
To attend the prestigious ceremony, the 44-year-old wore a long, strapless, bright green gown. She had her long, dark brown hair styled in waves and worn down, and paired her dress with some dangling earrings. Her look and red carpet appearance allowed her to flaunt her 100-pound weight loss, which she's been working on over the last few years.

Chrissy Metz Reveals She's 'Happier Than Ever' In New Interviews
While she's often been cast in weight-related roles, the actress has opened up several times in the past that she's struggled with her weight for decades, having emotional-related issues with eating, and not being successful in trying to lose it.
However, over the last few years, after working on her mental health, she found new routines that benefited her physical health as well, mentioning that she found a great personal trainer who helped her rediscover her love of strength-training.
"I have always enjoyed strength training," she told the Daily Mail. "I've always enjoyed lifting weights ... I don't want to run unless I'm being chased. I want to age the best way that I can, and I want to be strong. And that's really the impetus behind any of it."
After naturally losing 100 pounds in the last few years, gaining her role in Hunting Wives, and finding a new relationship, she has all put her in a very good place, telling People she's "happier than ever."
"I never thought I'd have all of this," she admitted.
