Meghan Markle often stirs up angry feelings from people who believe she pulls the ‘victim card’ a little too often while still living a very privileged life. Recently, it was a comedian who made jokes about the situation, roasting the former royal.

Comedian and podcaster Tim Dillon went viral after her ranted about Meghan Markle and her alleged “victim” mentality. The media personality went on about how he thought it was interesting how she became one despite living in a “castle” and being married to a “prince.” The online bit didn’t come long after Prince Harry stated that he and Meghan may never be able to safely return to the UK after he lost his latest security-related court case. Read more about the podcaster’s rant below.

Tim Dillon Says Meghan Markle Has Been Acting Like A Victim In An Interview

Tim Dillon is an American stand-up comic and podcaster who is known for his dark and sometimes crude humor. He is also known for giving his fair share of harsh opinions on the Duchess of Sussex and other members of the royal family on his podcast, The Tim Dillon Show.

His latest digs at her happened during a recent interview for Fox News Digital, where he started talking about the backlash the mom of two has experienced and how she's handled it since getting married to the prince. During his interview, he opened up about his joke material and explained why Meghan is one of his favorite targets.

"I think it's just that she came to prominence at a time when there was a real cultural cachet to being a victim," he told the digital publication.

"I thought it was a very funny way to be a victim, and she found a way to be a victim while living in a castle."

The podcaster was referencing how it didn't take long for the Duke and Duchess to step down from their royal duties and leave the UK for America, as they've been very transparent about how intense scrutiny from the press and internet trolls impacted their mental health and made them feel unsafe.

Since her engagement to the prince was announced in 2017, people have been calling her out for being upset or speaking out against the backlash she's received from the press and even other members of the royal family, claiming she knew what she was getting herself into.

Tim Calls Meghan 'A Comedic Actress' During His Interview

While diving deeper into how he believed the As Ever brand founder was playing a "victim" card, the comedian roasted her for the position of privilege she held for several years during her time in the UK.

He accused her of playing a part, referring to her as a "comedic" actress, possibly also poking fun at her acting background.

"I think she's a great comedic actress," he explained. "I think that there was real currency in being a victim when she rose to prominence, and she became a victim living in a castle married to a prince with the royal wedding, and I thought that was very funny."

Later, he spoke about Meghan's experience as something she had to "pull off," conspiring that all of the interviewing and storytelling she's done about her earlier, more brutal days in the public eye as a royal may have just been an act for sympathy.

"It's hard to pull it off," Tim added.

"She did it, to her credit. You know, most people that you know were putting out that they were victims during that era were, to their credit, not members of the royal family."

According to Fox, representatives for the California-based couple have declined to comment on what Tim said about them, but not long ago, Meghan went on stage at the Time100 Summit and said that she was the "happiest" she had ever been with her husband and kids, so despite what others may say, she's insisting everything is going alright.
