Curbside pickup is now available at Cotsco locations in the Southwest, the wholesale chain just announced on their website!
Members of the Washington-based club can now have employees load their cart “for a contact-free pick-up,” the “same-day shipping” page revealed.
The only catch? It costs $10 (while big box competitors like Target offer the service for free) and so far it’s only available at three New Mexico clubs. But it’s certainly a start!

The shopping method, with offers customers limited contact amid the novel coronavirus outbreak, has grown in popular in the past year–hence the call for its rollout at three Albuquerque locations.
The new service is offered in partnership with Instacart on purchases over $100.
About 2,000 grocery and select non-food items are available to shoppers who chose this method. Each pickup warehouse as "dedicated pickup parking spaces," for this checkout method, according to the company.

Customers simply visit Costco.com and select "same-day delivery" then "pickup" and then your pickup warehouse and shop. Simply choose a 1-hour pickup window and voila! Your items will be available for curbside pickup.
The positive news comes as the company also recently announced the closing of its Photo Centers in store this week. Ah, a sign of the times!
