Pictures & Videos Of Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair Go Viral On Social Media
This year, with it being America’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, President Trump and numerous members of his administration have been determined to make it a memorable summer.
Just weeks after he put on his Freedom 250 UFC fighting event on the lawn of the White House, which included the building of a temporary 90-ft UFC-style fighting ring and livestreamed fights, the administration launched the first-ever Great American State Fair. The fair, which sprawls across the entirety of the historic National Mall in the nation’s capital, was built to celebrate the 250th anniversary and include both educational and fun entertainment for people from all over to visit from June 25th to July 10th.
After the fair kicked off last week, despite the president claiming the National Mall had been “packed,” people went viral after recording the lack of attendees, writing things like “nobody’s here” in their captions. One user even called it the “National State Sad Fair.”

Social Media Users Call The Fair A 'Grift' And More
After pictures and videos of the empty National Mall and strange attractions at the Great American State Fair went viral on various platforms, it didn't take long for more social media users to begin chiming in.
Many called out right-leaning media organizations like Fox News, which claimed it was extremely crowded and drew large numbers of people, as well as those who called out the 80-year-old president for encouraging such an event.
One user on X called it "The Great American Waste Of Taxpayer Money," as another wrote, "Wow, this is pathetic [and] sad."
"There are more live people in a small cemetery on a weekday," joked another.
"Went there yesterday and [it] was empty," wrote a user.
Construction everywhere, pain to get into, lifeless exhibits…Do yourself a favor and just hit up the usual museums and monuments." On Reddit, users expressed similar feelings, with those who attended the fair calling it a "waste of time."
"It's a shame they didn't leave the planning to the Smithsonian," expressed a user. "It would have been great. The way this was done, it looks like they minimized spending so they could pocket the rest of the money. Just another grift."
