Celebrity divorces can be ugly, to say the least. From Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Scott, to the most recent bombshell divorce: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
But a divorce that you may have missed is Dr. Dre’s. You won’t believe what’s happening!
According to court documents obtained by Page Six on July 22nd, Dr. Dre is due to drop some major coin on his divorce. The 56-year-old music mogul was ordered to pay his estranged 51-year-old wife, Nicole Young, $293,306 per month in spousal support starting August 1st.
That means that the rapper, producer, and CEO of Beats is set to pay his soon-to-be-ex-wife a cool 3.5m a year.
These monthly payments will continue until Dre’s former spouse remarries. Yikes!
In addition to the massive monthly payments to Young, Dre was also ordered to cover all costs for the former couple’s Malibu and Pacific Palisades residences. More expenses could be possible, as the couple is expected to return to court on July 29th for another hearing.
