Captioned, “tour so far + friends seeeee you tonight Adelaide!!!” with the kangaroo and red heart emojis, Dua’s post got over 1.8m likes and counting. Dua showed off her y2k style in a gray scoopneck top with a matching bra, and a truly tiny asymmetrical denim micro miniskirt with the a chunky silver buckle. We first thought the star of the fit were Dua’s cherry red knee-high leather boots—until we landed on the snap of what she was wearing underneath: that thong. This isn’t the first time Dua Lipa has worn an exposed thong—and it definitely won’t be the last.
The 2000s exposed thong trend has definitely gotten more popular in recent years—from stars like Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski sporting the trend. The one that caught her followers’ attention the most? A jaw-dropping super-seductive pair of black, over-the-knee latex heeled boots that she wore pantless. Dua paired the boots with a barely-there bodysuit, and left her pants in her suitcase, because who needs them?
