Dua Lipa is clearly a 90s style aficionado like no other, and able to help bring back nostalgic trends like chunky platform sandals and blingy, sequined mini skirts. Now, she just rocked a denim bralette and high-waisted jean combo, and of course, we’re in awe. The British popstar was recently spotted in New York City at a taping of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and her look gave us major turn-of-the-century vibes. (After all, what’s more of a nod to early aughts fashion than denim-on-denim?)

The “Don’t Start Now” hitmaker, 26, donned two pieces from Italian brand Diesel’s Fall 2022 collection, including their treated denim bra top with thick straps and a middle zipper and their quilted ‘panta’ heeled boots that connected to her pants. Lipa carried a monogram denim bag from Diesel to accessorize and tied a lighter colored belt around her waist. The singer-songwriter showed off her toned midriff with the trendy look, and wore her dark hair into a piecey bun with wispy bangs. She was later seen with them pinned back.
As for jewelry, Lipa went with all silver pieces from Bulgari, including their B. Zero 1 shiny necklace, 2 of the fellow Italian luxury brand’s ‘Serpenti Viper’ rings, 2 matching bracelets and shimmering small hoop earrings. She also wore the ‘Diamond Baguette Pave Pinky Ring’ from LA-based brand, Shay Jewelry.

Denim-on-denim looks can be hard to successfully pull off, but it seems that revamped Canadian Tuxedo-like fits are back and better than ever. While Lipa’s 90s-eque get-ups always inspire our outfit choices, this particular subtly sexy, double denim ensemble just can’t be beat!
