Emma Stone Poses In A Petal-Shaped Bodysuit In Her New' Vogue' Photoshoot

This year's September Vogue cover star, a coveted position that marks the end of the summer and start of a new season, is none other than Emma Stone, the Oscar-winning actress who has stolen the hearts of many film enthusiasts over the years. She's been extremely busy, still coming off the success of her latest Academy Award win for Poor Things, and starring in new projects like Bugonia, which is set to premiere in October, following the Venice Film Festival.

For her photoshoot with elite Vogue photographers, she took pictures at a beautiful setting, the Palais des Papes in Avignon, France, wearing clothes from some of today's top designers. One of the most eye-catching looks she wore was a dramatic, petal-shaped bodysuit that almost looked like a blazer gone rogue. The structured bodysuit included two panels near her shoulders that poked out on either side of her, with a white turtleneck top underneath. The suit had her legs totally exposed, and she stayed barefoot while charmingly looking out a window. You can see pictures of the outfit here!

Throughout her shoot, the 36-year-old had her short, pixie auburn hair styled with lots of volume. In her cover story, she admitted that while she had to shave her head for a film, the act of doing it brought her to "tears," as her mom, Krista Stone, had lost her hair during her battle with breast cancer a few years back.

"She actually did something brave," said Emma about her mom. "I'm just shaving my head."

Emma Opens Up About Motherhood In Her 'Vogue' Interview

In addition to telling a touching story about her mother, the Easy A icon opened up about becoming a mom four years ago. In 2021, she and her husband, Dave McCary, a comedian and producer, welcomed a baby girl named Louise Jean, whom she mentioned in her famous 2024 Best Leading Actress acceptance speech at the Oscars, reportedly referencing her friend, Taylor Swift's song.

Since becoming a mom, she's stayed fairly vague about how often she talks about her daughter, wanting to maintain her privacy. However, she opened up a little more for her cover story interview. She spoke about how much Louise changed her life and the way she uses caution, taking her daughter's life into consideration before accepting a new role or project.

"It's a clichéd thing to say, but it changes everything," she admitted. "And simplifies everything."

She also dove into how being a mom shifted her approach to acting and taking on new characters, crediting the new emotions it has unlocked in her.

"I do think it unlocks different things," she said. "I don't know if it's specifically that, but I feel everything I could possibly feel, because everything has exploded."

It looks like the famous redhead has a pretty good balance going, as she's still able to have fun, pursue her career, and spend as much quality time with her little girl as possible. Plus, she's also got the time to pose in some pretty amazing outfits.
