Since they first started dating four years ago, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have had their fair share of breakups and makeups and that makes us think that things are COMPLICATED. But apparently their relationship started pretty straightforwardly. In a late 2016 interview on Sirius XM’s Morning Mash Up, Zayn explained, “I just asked her [out]. It was pretty straight up,” he said. “I just asked her if she wanted to go on a date. I was in New York.”
Although the hot couple has been through a lot of ups and downs over the years, we want to focus on the highs. Like Gigi starring in Zayn’s music video, their MET Ball debut in 2016, their possible engagement back in 2017, their Vogue cover, and the fact that they call each other Gee and Zee. Ugh! But most importantly, in case you haven’t already heard, they’re expecting their first child together! OMG.
Just last week though, Gigi went on the record to explain why she hasn’t been posting baby bump pictures, especially after British Vogue suggested that’s what she’s doing.

Gigi tweeted, “Disguise…? I said in a baggy jumpsuit the front and side views are visually different stories—not that that was intentional or I was trying to hide anything. Will be proud and happy to share ‘insight’ when I feel like it, thanks…For now I am proudly experiencing and sharing this time with my family and loved ones.” On a positive note, apparently Gee and Zee are doing amazing relationship-wise and a source shared with Us Weekly that “Gigi has been living at her mom’s farm with Zayn. She came back to NYC recently but she plans to spend most of her pregnancy there at the farm.” We can’t wait to see their baby whenever it arrives and they feel open to sharing with the world!
