Gwen Stefani‘s face has been a hot topic of conversation over the past few months – but her appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday, September 8th was the most shocking, as her fans unanimously agreed that she looked completely unrecognizable!
For her appearance on the hit talk show, the 52-year-old The Voice coach pulled out all the stops with her look, wearing a stunning black cut-out maxi dress with contrasting purple fishnet sleeves, while her hair was styled in a long, sleek, straight down do (so very Barbie!) and she went for heavy black eye makeup and a soft, nude lip. However, as glamorous as she looked from afar, fans couldn’t move past just how different her face looked, and the comments sections to both Instagram teaser posts were flooded with shocked and confused remarks!

“What happened to her face?” questioned one confused fan. “Wow, I did not recognize her for a minute,” stated another. “Nooo Gwen! nooooo!” another shocked fan commented, followed by three teary-eyed emojis. “Um… that does not look like Gwen Stefani as I remember her,” noted another, while many others suggested that she looked so unrecognizable they didn’t even believe it was her! “Sorry, who is this??” one fan quipped.
"Omg…..what has she done to herself??? How sad!" wrote another, while many others literally begged her to stop having work done to her face! "Stop with the surgery," pleaded another fan. "Leave your face alone!!!" another echoed. "I am so sorry to say this, but I did not recognize her. Please Gwen, STOP!" another exclaimed, also followed by three crying emojis.

These fan reactions are a stark contrast to reactions from previous recent pictures, whereby fans have praised her for looking great for her age, even going as far as saying she looks much younger than her 52 years! However, there were mixed reactions to one of her latest Instagram posts, as while many fans gushed over her "snatched" and youthful appearance, many others begged her to stop with the cosmetic treatments, in particular her alleged over-use of lip fillers. What could Gwen have had from then 'til now to result in this completely unrecognizable look?!
