The actress arrived on the red carpet and immediately turned heads in her beautiful gown. A strapless, empire-waist number, it featured a plunging neckline and a a sky-high slit. Adding to the dramatics, the star wore a red Valentino cape that fell to the floor, and added a pair of matching stiletto high heels.
For accessories, she wore two silver sparkly wrist bangles and a pair of silver drop earrings. Her signature blonde hair fell just below her shoulders, which she wore with a simple middle part, and her makeup was minimal. A truly gorgeous look!
Gwyneth wasn't the only one in vintage Valentino that night: Anne Hathaway also wore a floor length gown from the designer. A cream-colored, low-cut dress with a fringe skirt, this ensemble was part of the Spring/Summer 1993 collection, also made by Mr. Valentino Garavani.
