This post has been updated since its original publication date to include info from Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘British Vogue’ interview

When Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, took off all her clothes and posted a picture on Instagram (not her first time, either!) on June 30th, we don’t think she expected to get the reaction she got from her fans!

The Goop founder‘s seven image carousel of what looked like a wonderful family trip to Italy started off with a picture of her posing with her husband Brad Falchuk and not wearing anything, save for a pair of sunglasses and a necklace. But instead of receiving praise from her 8.3M Instagram followers for stripping down to her birthday suit yet again, a lot of the comments section was dominated by fans begging the Oscar-winner to use sunscreen, as it looked like her skin was severely sun damaged. Ouch!

Fans Comment On Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘Sun Damage’ And Urge Her To ‘Use Sunscreen’

“People, use sunscreen!” exclaimed one concerned fan in the comments section. “Sound advice,” one fan replied, adding, “Her skin appears dry and sunburnt,” which they thought was “Quite odd considering Goop.” Another fan decided to dissect the original comment, replying, “I think they’re just referring to the obvious sun damage all over her face and even more so neck/chest; not if she’s actually using sunscreen in this photo. The sun damage she has on her body is objectively very, very bad. Especially for her young-ish age. That level of damage doesn’t happen [by] accident.”

Another fan said, “Your sun damage is horrific,” while another wrote, “I thought she was the big health guru?  She looks like someone who hasn’t been wearing her sunscreen.” “That first pic is a great advert for sunscreen if ever I saw one,” quipped another fan, as another agreed, adding, “That’s a whole lotta sun damage on her décolleté!”

“Look at all the sun damage on your skin. What Goop product will fix that?” asked another. “All that hustle about skin care and then skin destroyed by sun. Do not get it honestly!” added another, while someone else asked, “Is sunscreen anti-goop?”

Previous Fan Comments About Gwyneth Paltrow’s Apparent Sun Damage

The June post wasn’t the first time the wellness mogul’s fans showed concern over her seemingly sun damaged skin. Back in May, she shared an Instagram carousel which honored fellow businesswomen and beauty gurus, but it was sadly her skin, which was covered in dark spots, which commanded most of the attention.

The first picture showed her lying on a couch with her friend, Kimberly Blackwell, which seemed to be the picture that caused fans to voice their concerns about her skin. “Holy [expletive] gurl! Get out of the sun! I can see only sun damage on that photo!” exclaimed one fan, as another added, “Sunblock Gwynnie!”

Gwyneth Paltrow Talks To 'British Vogue' About Aging

Less than one month after posting that controversial picture with her husband on their Italian vacation, Paltrow has opened up about her beauty secrets and how she really feels about getting older with none other than British Vogue. And we have to admit, we love what she had to say!

Talking to the fashion bible about the double standards of men getting older versus women getting older, the Sliding Doors actress said: "I think it’s culture’s problem." She added: "It’s handsome to go gray [as a man], but for women it’s like, 'What do you plan to do about your wrinkles and your aging skin?' There’s definitely a double standard."

The Shallow Hal actress went on to say how she admired stars like Andie MacDowell for "embracing" their age, and referenced the Four Weddings and a Funeral alum's "beautiful gray curls." Does this mean that we can expect to see Paltrow rock all-gray hair in the not-so-distant future?

We're already seeing her rock what is known as herringbone highlights, the flattering hair trend which sees the gray hair at the top of her head is intricately woven into the rest of her blonde strands. "As women, we want to be healthy, we want to be aging. This idea that we’re supposed to be frozen in time is so weird," she also told the fashion glossy, while also saying that she won’t judge people for wanting to do what they can to preserve their youth too. "Everybody should be empowered to do it how they want to," she said.

"I don’t want to erase time from the life I’ve lived, and I don’t have to be wrinkle free," the Mortdecai actress added, before saying Goop’s Youth Boost Peptide Serum is a great product for people to use if they don’t want to go under the knife just yet. She also said, "Your mental state, your nutritional state and your levels of exercise all really do impact your quote-unquote beauty."

"I think the most important thing is how you take care of your body, from a nutritional and strength aspect. These things don’t only impact the way that you look as you age, but how you feel as you age," she added.
