Another nepo baby is facing backlash online, and this time it’s Apple MartinGwyneth Paltrow’s 20-year-old daughter.

Apple recently stepped into the spotlight as a beauty influencer, making her debut at the Hourglass Cosmetics party during the NYFW Kickoff Party on Wednesday, February 5, at The Nines in New York City.

With no significant presence in the beauty, fashion, film, or music industries, many fans were quick to attribute her rising status to nepotism, arguing that her connections, rather than experience, paved her way into the influencer world.

Social Media Slams Gwyneth Paltrow & Her Daughter: 'Nepotism'

Apple was seen alongside actress Eiza Gonzalez and model Amelia Gray Hamlin as the trio posed with Hourglass founder and president Carisa Janes.

She stepped out in a chic black slip dress featuring a delicate lace bodice and a flowing satin skirt, accessorized with a sleek satin scarf around her neck. To celebrate the brand’s new Red 0 collection, she wore the Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm in a bold red shade, currently available for $38.

As soon as critics saw photos from the event, they not only slammed her awkward modeling but also the fact that she was most likely invited because of her status.

Fans React to Apple Martin's Beauty Influencer Debut

"If there are no rich and famous parents, who is this Apple, even?"

"Could anyone appear more entitled than Gwyneth? Perhaps we have found someone."

"Listen. All of the other nepo babies are fine. This one we should not embrace."

"Instead of Nepo Baby, any chance these celebrity kids could pivot and become college graduates?"

"Thanks to nepotism."

Others criticized her "unnatural" poses, writing:

"A natural? Anyone can stand at the bar and put on a little gloss."

"That's not natural. I think I saw Tesla robots act the same way."

Last November, the internet labeled the 20-year-old as a "mean girl" after seeing her behavior during the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris.

The event, which showcases elite children making their formal debut into society, quickly went viral on TikTok for its display of opulence and grandeur.

A viral clip showed Apple drawing attention for all the wrong reasons. In the footage, another young debutante was gracefully posing in front of the photographers when Apple suddenly walked abruptly into the frame from behind, stealing the girl’s moment.

Striking a confident pose with her hand on her hips, she made her way front and center into the shot, leaving the other girl no choice but to laugh it off awkwardly and move along.

The Vanderbilt University student posed for a good few seconds before finally stepping away and letting the debutante behind her have her moment after patiently waiting for her turn.

TikTok was flooded with comments slamming her “entitled” behavior at the “nepo-baby ball.”
