When it comes to the health of your skin, one of the most important things to do is to establish a skincare routine and actually stick to it. Remember: Consistency is key! Also, you can never go wrong with a little bit of research. Before you buy any skincare product, make sure you read the labels. Obviously, you’ll want to get something that is compatible with your skin type and can address your skin’s concerns. You have to understand that while some skincare ingredients can work for others, some might not for you—and that’s okay. When you religiously follow a regimen that caters to your skin type, chances are you will get the most effective results.

Additionally, makeup can also work wonders and enhance your features. While it’s possible to achieve that youthful radiance through a consistent skincare routine, using a few other beauty products can help too. Below, professional makeup artist Kerri Herlihy gives us the three best products she recommends if you want soft, glowy skin.

The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dewy Set Setting Spray

If you're struggling with dry skin and have always wanted that dewy glow, this product with a water-based formula is perfect for you. According to the Anastasia Beverly Hills website, this item "is a coconut-vanilla-scented setting spray that seamlessly blends products together as it sets makeup with a dewy (never oily), radiant finish." It's lightweight, refreshing, and smooth on the skin. Herlihy shares, "[This is the] setting spray I actually use before I apply foundation. [It gives you] a 'lit from within' [kind of] glow."

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

As mentioned in an article published by Glamour, "The Flawless Filter is a lightweight liquid formula that leaves skin with a dewy glow without any shimmer or sparkle. The product, which features ultra-fine powders that help blur pores and smooth skin, can be worn either alone as a primer or layered over your usual makeup as a highlighter to accent your cheekbones, brow bones, Cupid’s bow, and tip of the nose."

Herlihy adds, "The Flawless Filter can be used alone, under foundation, or mixed with your favorite foundation for an amazing subtle glow."

Maelove Glow Maker

"The Glow Maker is my absolute favorite serum ever for glowing skin," Herlihy tells us. Based on the product description, it contains "Vitamins C (15% L-ascorbic acid), E, and Ferulic Acid for superb antioxidant protection, Hyaluronic Acid for long-lasting hydration, and a proprietary botanical blend (Vitis Vinifera, Aloe, Aurantium Dulcis and Magnolia) for extra nourishment and easy makeup application."

According to Mina-Jacqueline Au, Dermal Repair Specialist and CEO of VivreSKINLabs, vitamin C is great for the skin because it is "one of the most powerful antioxidants" and "absolutely essential for producing collagen and elastin in the body, keeping the skin plump, firm, and younger-looking."
