Kylie Jenner has always seemed to be a fun and hip mom, but she may have taken things too far in a recent video she posted with her daughter.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder was slammed by internet users after using a filter while posing her and her daughter, Stormi, for a TikTok video. She is not the first member of the Kardashian-Jenner family to be accused of overusing filters or Photoshop, but some fans are especially angry that she felt the need to allegedly use a filter while making a casual video with her seven-year-old. Kylie Jenner Seemingly Uses A Filter While Filming A TikTok With Her Young Daughter
Last week, the beauty mogul shared a video of her and her seven-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, sitting outside and singing along to the old song "Pretty Little Baby" by Connie Francis, which is trending on TikTok. The video she posted to the platform featured Stormi sitting on her lap as she lip-synced the song, and her little one flashed a big smile. The video was quite short and affectionate in nature.
"I know we're over this song, but I had to," wrote Kylie in her post.
Like most of her content, the video quickly gained millions of views and reached a whopping 16M likes on the app. Numerous fans and viewers commented on how beautiful both the Jenner sister and her daughter are, noting that Stormi is a "mini" version of her mom.
"She is so cute!" wrote a fan on TikTok.
However, as the short post gained more traction and other internet users could see it, they observed that it looked like a subtle airbrush filter was used in the video.
As Kylie sings along to the song, her skin is noticeably blurred and almost airbrushed. The same goes for her young daughter, as although she is a child, her skin looks almost a little too smooth to be without a filter in the clip.

The Internet Slams Kylie For Allegedly Using A Filter On Her And Stormi's Video
Once more people saw the new mother-daughter TikTok video and noticed that the Khy founder likely used a filter while filming with her seven-year-old, many of them took the time to share their disappointment on social media, upset that she would bother using some kind of skin 'perfecting' filter while capturing moments with her little girl.
After media outlets reposted Kylie's video on other social media platforms like Instagram, angry internet users began to comment on how they felt the 27-year-old needed to "stop" using filters around her daughter, as "she's just a kid."
"We're teaching our children that we're supposed to look like this," wrote an Instagram user.
"Let's stop with the filters, especially on a child. So not necessary."
"Lose the filters on the child's face," added another.
"I'll never understand putting a filter on your kid," commented an Instagram user.
"How can you say she looks like her mom?" asked another.
"Her mom doesn't even look like her mom! That lady is unrecognizable."
This is not the first time Kylie nor any member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has been called out for their frequent use of social media filters or photo editing. However, they seem to be extra sensitive regarding the next generation of the famous family, as they think seven years old is too young for glamorizing or skin-correcting filters.
