Ivanka Trump recently enjoyed a scenic getaway to Wyoming with her husband, Jared Kushner, embracing Western-inspired fashion along the way—but not without some backlash.

Her first look featured a teal, flowy midi dress with sheer long sleeves, which she styled with white cowboy boots and a disco-style belt for a modern twist on classic Western wear.

In another outfit, she wore a mini skirt adorned with a Native American-inspired print and fringe detailing, paired with a cropped denim jacket, a black tank top underneath, a woven handbag, and the same white boots.

While the look may have been intended to channel rustic charm, it sparked criticism online, with some accusing the mother of three of cultural appropriation.

On social media, one user wrote, "Cultural appropriation!" Someone else commented, "Indigenous outfit is cultural appropriation." Another person commented, "The skirt, I'm sure, was inspired by indigenous people, something you and your family have no respect for."

However, on her personal Instagram account, her fans praised her style choices as they raved in the comment section.

"Beautiful couple. You’re so stunning, Ivanka," said one fan. Another wrote, "She looks more beautiful than ever before."

Fans React to Ivanka Trump's Cherry Blossom Mini Dress

This isn't the first time the first daughter has been slammed for her outfit choice. Earlier this month, Ivanka attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish wedding in Venice wearing a dress many thought was more fitting for a teen.

She stepped out in Oscar de la Renta’s Cherry Blossom Sequin Cocktail Mini Dress, a $9,990 piece featuring ombré sequins down the dress, delicate floral appliqués, and a vine-inspired halter neckline.

One user said, “Looks like a dress for a teen!” Another person wrote, “You are too old to wear that dress!”

Someone else commented, “You’re a 40+-year-old mother of three children, one of whom is a teenager! You are not a Barbie doll, so dress accordingly to set a good example.”
