Hoda Calls Jenna 'The Ringleader' Of Drunken Holiday Party Bash
Apparently, the party was a lot of fun, because Jenna jokingly said, "I'm sort of ready to go to the sober living house where my parents live!" But let's back up.
Hoda explained that their annual holiday party occurred over the weekend: "Our Today Show crew got together for drinks," she said. Now, this is how we party: 3pm we meet. For most people it was a wrap by 5, 5:50pm. That's two hours of sitting there and talking and drinking. For others..." the host paused and turned to her co-host before saying, "I heard you were the ringleader."
Appalled, Jenna replied, "I was NOT the ringleader!" But Hoda insisted: "I heard from sources that they said, 'Let's get the check.' It was late, and sources say that you said, 'One more round!'"
But Jenna continued to deny this, saying, "There was four of us standing, I won't mention any names," but Hoda cut her off and named the three other crew members Jenna was too polite to single out.
Jenna insisted that she left early because she "needed to get home," and also called out her crew members, saying, "I am going to get back at those people who blamed it on me because I don't appreciate it. By the way, we were still home by 7pm."
