Jennifer Aniston’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show was iconic for so many reasons. The 53-year-old former Friends star – who looked stunning in a cut-out black jumpsuit, by the way – appeared on the 64-year-old comedian’s last ever show on Thursday, May 26th, after being a guest on the first ever episode of the show 19 years ago, and gave one of her most candid interviews ever!
We know that the Morning Show actress always has a lot to say in interviews – and we are always happy to listen with open ears – but nothing beats Jen’s trips down memory lane; especially when they’re related to her ex-husband Brad Pitt!
Aniston referenced their 2005 split when Ellen asked her what she did after Friends came to an end in 2004; and her answer was delivered in a very humorous way, which we applaud her for, as she previously mentioned that her divorce from the 58-year-old Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood actor was one of the hardest times of her life.
"Well, I got a divorce and went into therapy," she jokingly told Ellen, which was met with laughter from the audience. "Oh! And then I did a movie called The Break-Up. I just kinda leaned into the end. I just was like, 'You know what, guys? Let's make this a completely new chapter. Let's just end everything and start new.' It worked great."
Great is the perfect word to describe Jen's dating life, as she has had some high-profile romances since divorcing Brad, including Vince Vaughn between 2005 and 2006, John Mayer between 2008 and 2009, and of course Justin Theroux, who she actually met in 2007, started dating in 2011, married in 2015, and then sadly got divorced from in 2018. Despite all her high-profile romances though, we will never get tired of hearing her talk about Brad!
