Jennifer Lawrence Shines In Alaïa Outfit On No Hard Feelings Press Tour
The photocall, which took place at Madrid’s Hotel Four Seasons on Wednesday, featured Jennifer alongside co-star Andrew Barth Feldman and director Gene Stupnitsky to promote the new comedy No Hard Feelings. The actress looked the perfect mix of easy, breezy, and cool in an all-Alaïa ensemble—a crisp white Alaïa button-down shirt and Alaïa gathered mini skirt, also in white cotton.

The ‘fit was complemented by a black Alaïa belt, a built-in part of the skirt, and black peep-toe heels. Jennifer kept the look low-key with minimal jewelry (though she smartly utilized sunglasses when needed) and a fresh-faced makeup look with dewy, glowy skin and natural colors. The final touch was partially rolled-up sleeves on top, perfect for the warm summer weather. Alaïa’s thick black strappy belt helped pull the look in, creating a very flattering hourglass silhouette on the stunning star.

Jen’s airy summer look was a contrast to the more formal look she wore at the film’s U.K. premiere the day before, which featured a stunning embellished floor-length black Dior gown with a sheer bodice, accented with a black bra insert underneath. The Hunger Games star accented the dress with elbow-length black gloves, a leather Dior belt, and black heels. Dramatic smoky-eye makeup and a slicked-back ponytail capped off the fashionable ensemble.
New Comedy Promises JLaw In A Whole New Light
The dramatically different, yet totally Jennifer looks were all in service of the press tour and premiere of No Hard Feelings, which is notably Jennifer's first out-and-out comedy. The actress stars as Maddie Barker, a ne'er do well Uber driver who responds to a Craigslist posting by a wealthy couple looking for someone to date their awkward, introverted son Percy (Andrew Barth-Feldman) before he leaves for college. As the film promises, "[Maddie] has one summer to make [Percy] a man...or die trying."
The film is certainly a departure for Jennifer, who is known for her dramatic turns in films like American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook, as well as action-heroine status in the dystopian epic Hunger Games franchise. However, viewers of shows the actress has guested on, like Saturday Night Live, know that she's pretty game for anything—and truly excels at comedy.
The first reactions to ‘NO HARD FEELINGS’ are overwhelmingly positive.

Jennifer had taken some time off from acting before returning to screens in 2021 with Don't Look Up, but the No Hard Feelings script by director Gene Stupnitsky and John Phillips attracted her to the project. "I definitely wasn’t ready to work, I wasn’t planning on working for a long time," she told host George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America last Monday. "I had just had a baby and I definitely wasn't planning on working for a long time. But I read the script and it was just too funny. It was the funniest thing I had ever read."
No Hard Feelings, which also includes a nude scene for Jennifer, is rated R, and hit theaters in the U.S. on June 17th.
