During an interview with Gayle King last weekend, Jennifer Lopez admitted that she lost weight for her latest role, which she filmed during the process of getting divorced for the fourth time. She said that her "very thin" appearance was because her character was a "blonde Hollywood bombshell," and she wanted to look the part to a tee.
Previously, on Live with Kelly and Mark, she emphasized that she looked so much thinner because she was filming, and not because of her split with Ben Affleck. "I just finished a movie called Kiss of the Spider Woman, where it was all singing and dancing, which was equal parts exhilarating and exhausting as well," she explained. "Now, I'm ready to go. I'm the thinnest I've ever been. I'm in fighting shape right now."

The press tour for Lopez's new film has brought the red carpet a ton of new slimming looks for the star. One that was particularly noteworthy was the floral maxi dress she wore to the New York City screening of the film—the very one she wore while looking particularly not divorced from Ben Affleck.
Photos from the event make it look like Lopez and Affleck are very much still together. Dressed in a simple navy blue suit with a white button down, Ben was actually smiling in his paparazzi photos, and not just for the cameras—he's gazing lovingly down at his ex-wife!
Lopez, for her part, wore a low-cut, figure-hugging dress with foliage details. While on the red carpet, she also a wore a spider-inspired corset—while highlighting her teeny waist, it featured structured spider-leg-like protrusions. The 56-year-old also took her turns smiling both at the cameras and at Ben Affleck.
