Jessica Simpson looks as stunning as ever and she’s proud of it! The “With You” hitmaker, 41, opened up about her impressive 100-pound weight loss on an appearance on The Real earlier this week and let fans know that her transformation was due to 3 years of “determined patience” and didn’t happen overnight.
“I believe in setting small goals for yourself because in my life and how I’ve done it, there’s easy ways to throw in the towel and just feel like it’s impossible,” Simpson said on the show. “So the small goals for me are what helped me achieve the main goal.”

Simpson shares 3 children with her husband, football player Eric Johnson, 42: daughter Maxwell, 8, son Ace, 7, and daughter Birdie, 3. She explained that her recent weight gain came with her third child’s pregnancy, which is something many women (and her fans in the comments said they can) relate to. “I celebrate pregnancy, but this last pregnancy was really hard for me,” Simpson said. “I don’t know if it was because I was older, hormones and all kinds of stuff, but whoa, Birdie gave me a brutal stretch.”
The fashion designer also spoke about her current bikini body, and how prioritizing her health first and foremost ultimately led to the shape she loves now: “being in a bikini was never my goal,” she said, while still recognizing how proud she is of herself and how incredible she looks in one.

Earlier this month, Simpson shared a gorgeous photo of herself rocking a multicolored paisley print bikini, showing off her toned abs and overall killer figure. “I have gained and lost 100lbs 3x so I never thought this moment could or would happen, but I’m finally spring breakin’ wearin’ a BIKINI!!!!!!” she wrote in her caption, crediting her appearance to “hard work,” “determination,” and “self love.”
