Kamala Reflects On Joe Biden's Bid For Reelection

Harris recently appeared on Steven Bartlett's Diary of A CEO podcast, and on it, she spoke about how she and Biden navigated his bid for reelection. One particularly memorable moment? The June 2024 debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

In the debate, Biden didn't seem to put his best food forward, appeared feeble and forgetful, and even stumbled over his words and lost his train of thought. However, Harris reveals she knew something was off even before the debate began.

"He called me from debate camp... and I could tell something was a little off," she said. "And I was concerned about...I just, I don't think he wanted to debate, is my point."

"He didn't want that debate," she continued. "And you know, it's like any competition you go in, whether it's you're bidding for something, if it's sports, you gotta want it, right? If you don't wanna be in the competition, it will absolutely have an impact on your performance. I'm pretty sure he did not want to debate."

When Bartlett asked why she felt this way, she replied, "Well, we had conversations about it. I think he got talked into it."
