We think that Kate Beckinsale seriously channeled Queen Elsa when she attended the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards at Goya Studios in Los Angeles on March 21st, walking the red carpet in an icy, Frozen-inspired sheer dress with a difference!
Anyone who saw the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party red carpet earlier this month knows that sheer dresses are *still* having a major style moment (we don’t think they will ever stop being en-vogue at this rate!) with some celebs going one step further to try and make theirs stand out even more among the crowd. Just look at Emily Ratajkowski’s stunning, albeit controversial, dress as a great example! And we think the 49-year-old Pearl Harbor actress and her stylist Gorge Villalpando definitely got the memo, as we don’t think we’ve ever seen anything like this on the red carpet before!

Kate Beckinsale Wears Julien MacDonald Julien x Gabriela Dress
The Serendipity actress looked sensational on the red carpet in a semi sheer graphic gown from the Julien MacDonald and Gabriela Gonzalez Julien x Gabriela AW24 collection featuring dramatic, exaggerated shoulders and edgy silver sequin ice-inspired embellishments throughout. Julien MacDonald's official Instagram describes them as hand-embellished "graphic bursts of liquid silver Japanese micro bugle, light reflecting faceted comet argent Swarovski crystal and tones of silver and transparent lustre sequin" to give them the most accurate description possible!
The Jolt star accessorized with matching silver heels and wore her hair in a modern ponytail to let the dress command all of the attention, and sported dark eye makeup and a nude lip. One accessory we weren’t expecting, however, was Kate's nail polish, which came in a contrasting shade of green. Although we weren’t expecting it, we are kind of obsessed with it – even more so because we noticed that it *perfectly* matched the green gemstone in her necklace. Talk about attention to detail!
