Kate Middleton revealed how excited she was to have all three of her children home with her and husband Prince William for fall break during a visit to a charity shop on Thursday, October 22nd. This includes Prince George, who has been at boarding school since September!
Kensington Palace confirmed earlier this year that Prince George would attend the prestigious $60,000-a-year Eton College after finishing at Lambrook School alongside his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The Princess of Wales was reportedly “emotional” about him leaving home, so it’s no surprise she’s excited to have him back! Keep reading for more details…

Kate Middleton Reveals She 'Can't Wait' To Have Her Children Home For Fall Break
On Thursday, the Princess of Wales made a surprise stop at Café 98, a charity shop and café in Hoveton, Norfolk, that raises funds to support young people with life-threatening conditions, following a royal engagement at the Treehouse children's hospice in Ipswich.
While outside the shop, one child reportedly told Kate that it was his last day of school before the break, prompting her to reveal that George, Charlotte, and Louis were also preparing for their half-term vacation. And it sounds like she was just as excited as they were!
"My children break up tomorrow, and I can't wait to have them all home," the Princess of Wales said, per Hello! magazine. And as seen in a video shared on Instagram by Hello!, the mom-of-three revealed that her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, were looking forward to the break too, adding: "Half-term is a good time to catch up on family life."
According to the magazine, another woman who met the Princess of Wales revealed that she "said she's looking forward to George coming home – she's missed him. They may be going somewhere [during the break]." Aww!

Kate Middleton Was Reportedly 'Emotional' About Prince George Attending Boarding School
Kate's excitement about having her eldest son, and the second in line to the throne, back home isn't surprising, given previous reports about her feelings toward sending him away to boarding school.
The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly disagreed over where George should continue his education, with Kate said to be "heartbroken" about him going away so young. She also reportedly had some unhappy experiences at Downe House boarding school herself, which may explain her reluctance to send George to Eton, where his father and uncle, Prince Harry, also studied.
Royal author Robert Jobson previously told Hello! that George's departure would be deeply felt by his parents, describing it as an "emotional" time for the family. "It's a chance for him to spread his wings and take part in things in the afternoons and evenings instead of going home to mum and dad," Jobson said, adding: "Both of them know what it was like; they both boarded, so they know how it works."
"William used to visit the late Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor while he was at Eton College, but that has to be organized. You can't just pop home when you want to," he continued. "They are such a tight family unit. George will be missed. It will be like having an empty seat at the table."
