Kate Middleton is known for her refined and elegant style. Now, it looks like the Duchess of Cambridge is taking a page out of Meghan Markle’s fashion book! The mom of three was just spotted wearing what royal fashion experts are calling a Markle-inspired pantsuit!
Middleton, who normally opts for traditional pleated dresses, wool coats, and matching skirt sets when she’s on the job, donned a modern-yet-professional pantsuit made up of a fitted olive green blazer from Smythe, a classic white tee, navy wide-leg pants, and a thick belt.

She looks amazing, right?! We love how the Duchess of Cambridge decided to mix-and-match the blazer and pants, giving us a glimpse at some of the more trendier pieces from her closet. In fact, we’ve never really seen Middleton venture into menswear like this before–that’s usually what her sister-in-law Markle wears.
The newly-crowned Duchess of Sussex loves to push the boundaries with her fashion and wear high-fashion pieces that challenge royal protocol, giving us looks that are on-trend and still super elegant. We thought Middleton’s olive green blazer moment was similar to an outfit Markle had worn earlier in the year. She rocked a fitted black Givenchy blazer on an outing with Prince Harry, completing the outfit with a white tee, relaxed-fitting trousers, and a similar black belt.
